FISHING !

On 25th April, Leonie, Shiling and I went fishing at Bedok Jetty. First, Shiling and I went Parkway Parade to have our lunch and Leonie came to join us after that. Leonie bought her supper long rods for fishing with her and she wanted shiling and I to carry it. I felt so embarrassed carrying that because everyone was like staring at us giving a weird look. We didn't wanted to carry that in the first place. We even laugh at ourself when we are carrying that. Haha. After that, we walked from Parkway Parade to East Coast Park and from East Coast Park we bused down to East Coast hawker centre. Due to there's no bus we can take to reach Bedok Jetty, so we have to walk our way down under the very hot sun for approximately 10-15mins.

Our way to Bedok Jetty. (:

Preparing the fishing rods.

This white T-shirt guy, his name is Jason, taught us how to fish and also to set up the fishing rods. He's really a funny and friendly guy. Leonie at first told us she know how to fish but ended up we got to seek help from the people there and we also went making new friends there. (:
This fishes are caught by the people there.

The fish are too big so they have to use the net in order to bring them up.

They hook up the fish with their own rope and thrown it back to the sea water so that the fish won't die so fast. They will take the fish up when they are leaving.

Why you chose to do that activity?
I have never fish before, so i wanted to try out something new. And also is that fishing is quite slacking.
What you felt mattered in that activity?
Fishing needs patience because it need time to let the fish bite the bait. Therefore, patience is important for fishing.

What you enjoyed most about that activity?
Making new friends and the process of waiting for the fish to get hook on to our hooks.

What challenges you overcame?
Touching the fishes which i have never tried before.

What do failures and successes mean?
Failures, if the fish run away eating of the fish.
Successes, caught a fish in the end.
What lifeskills have you learnt from the activity?
I have learn to be more patience. Thus, it will help me in furture.
In which ways have you become a better person?
To become a more patience person.
