BAKING on 4th MAY'09

Shiling, Vanessa and Leonie came over my house to make Oreo Cheesecake. Before that we went down to the NTUC to buy our ingredient. We bought cheese, oreo, vanilla essence and condense milk. After that we back to my house and started our baking!

I'm smashing the oreo into fine crumbs

Leonie, Vanessa and Shi Ling are mixing the cheese with vanilla essence and condense milk.

After we mix our cheese, vanilla essence and condence milk, we have to spread the butter around the tray for the oreo coating.

After the Oreo coating we've got to pour in the mixed cheese.

After pouring in the chesse, we put another layer of oreo.

And pour in all the extra cheese onto the tray.

After that we decorate it with mini oreos.

And we sieve a little of the oreo on the top of the cheese cake.

Placed it in the refrigerate and here's our Oreo Cheesecake! :D

Why you chose to do that activity?

I love eating Oreo cheesecake but i have no idea how to make it and i have never try baking before at home. So this is why i chose to do this activity. (:

what you felt mattered in that activity?

I've learn to cook a new dish.

what you enjoyed most about that activity?

Making and testing of our own cheesecake. Smashing and creating the patterns we want for our cake.

what challenges you overcame?

I overcome the heat in the oven.

what do failures and successes mean?

Failures baking it to not the shape you wanted.

Success the turns out nicely.

Preparing a new dish.

MOVIES on 24thApril'09

The movie tickets.

After school went Plaza Sing to watch 17again with Cherie, Lina and Leonie. The show is great!
Especially ZAC EFRON! He's so good lucking in that show. Haha. Most properbly the story is about Zac Efron, as Mike in that movie, was 17 years old a basketball player. He plays really good and before the championship game, his girlfriend Scarlet informed him that she was pregnant. At that time, he thinks that nothing is more important than her girlfriend which was pregnant and he just throw everything away and proposed to her.

Twenty years times, Scarlet has separated from him, forcing him to stay in with another of his friend, ned, which is a millionaire. While he paying a visit to Hayden High School to reminisce about the life he threw away, he met a mysterious guy. On his way back home, it was raining cats and dogs, he saw the mysterious guy standing on the bridge and when the bus passby, the mysterious guy fallen down the sea. Mike went to take a look and he is magically transformed back into his 17-year old self. He then ask Ned to be his father in order for him to re-enrols in high shcool, believing that he has been given a chance to have his life over agian. So even changes his name to Mark so that he could enters basketball team without anyone suspecting. Later on he discovers that his daughter are dating with the basketball captain who keeps on bullying his son, Alex. He then realise that he was there to help his children. He trys to seperate his daughter(Maggie) from staying close with the basketball captain. Meanwhile, he went home with his son being his friend, assists Scarlet in decorating the garden.

As for Ned, he is trying to get closer with the high school principal. But the initial attempts to woo her fails. Taking her back to his house, they discover an out-of-control party raging there. Mike was celebrating Alex scorring in a winning basket. He was too happy and he just shout "Mark" is throwing a victory party! Scarlet went over to Ned's place to look for Alex and Mike feelings for her are reawakened, and he goes to kiss her. His reaction digusted Maggie and her friend.

The next morning, Ned reminds Mike that it was the date of their divorce hearing with Scarlet. He turns up as Mark to read a letter from Mike and the content really touches her. However, uponing seeing the letter, which was only direction written on it, she realise the truth that "Mark" was Mike. Later at a chiampionship game Mike makes a gesture which she recognises as his. Realising that she is in the same situation as twenty years earlier, she flees the scene. Mike follows, handing the ball to Alex, who goes on to make the winning shot. The mysterious guy then transform him back into his adult self. and Mike and Scarlett reunite.

In the end, Both Mike and Ned had a happy ending. (:

Wanted to know what happen and whar is the ending.

Can't wait for the movie to start.

Seeing all the handsome actors.

KBox on 1stMAY'09

After golf, we headed to Marina Square KBOX but this time is without Zi Ying. Had our lunch there and headed to KBOX to book the room.

why you chose to do that activity?

I haven been going KBOX for nearly a year and i love to sing!

what you felt mattered in that activity?

The pitch of our voices. When we are going to sing the high pitch part we really got to use our voice and stomach to sing out loud.

what you enjoyed about that activity?

Having fun with all my friends when we dance and sing together!

what challenges you overcome?

Being much more braver then before.

what do failures and succeses mean?

Failures losing of tunes.

Success sing it out smoothly.

what lifeskills have you learnt from that activity?

After a session of singing, i felt more confident than before, and not afriad of being embarrassed.

In which ways have you become a better person?

Being a confident person.

GOLF on 1stMAY'09

Meet Leonie, Shiling, Vanessa, Ziying, Jerrold and Bryan at Kallang KFC and we bus down to Marina Bay golf course. But it doesn't stop right infront of the golf course, we got to walk for about 15-20 mins under the HOT sun in order to reach the place. When we reached the golf course, Leonie went to book the spot for us to play and it was at the 3rd level. We specially requested for 3rd level because the 1st and 2nd level got many people playing. We didn't wanted to embarrass ourself so we choose the one with very little people there. (:

I'm trying to get use to the golf club before i really start playing. (:

Poor Bryan, got hit on his mouth by the golf club and it really bleeds!

Why you chose to do that activity?

I have never played golf before and I use to watch people play it on the tv.

So i wanted try out how fun was golf and i thought it was easy but it wasn't!

What you felt mattered in that activity?

In needs the way of standing and hitting the ball.

what you enjoyed most about that activity?

The quietness and aiming and hitting the ball as far as possible.

what challenges you overcame?

Hitting my ball as further as when i first started.

what do failures and successes mean?

Failures means that when you are aiming to hit at 50 but ended up hitting not over that that.

Success means that when you aim for 50 but you hit even further than that.

what lifeskills have you learnt from the activity?

Good Aiming

Think things positively.

POOL on 28thAPRIL'09

Went Hougang Plaza and Pool with Desmond Soh, Shiling, leonie, Vanessa and JunMing.

Desmond Soh was teaching me how to hold the stick correctly and aim!

We got to use the other stick if the ball is far away from us. (:

Pool is really FUN! I'm getting addicted to it. Haha

Why you chose to do that activity?

I thinks that pool is fun and cool, so i wanted to try it out and i have never tried playing pool before!

What you felt mattered in that activity?

This activity requires skills.

what you enjoyed most about that activity?

The fun and laughter i had with all my friends. Looking at everyone being so serious when playing.

what challenges you overcame?

How to stand in the correct position and placing of hand position, and how to aim into the correct hole.

what do failures and successes mean?

Failures to me is that hoping on something but ended up you didn't get it.

Successes to me is that whatever youu hope to get you can get it mean you have success.

what lifeskills have you learnt from the activity?

Accurancy and precession.

In which ways have you become a better person?

Not to give up easily, not matter what finish it all.
